Configuring Resnet 40 on Windows Vista
Note: Only computers running Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or higher can connect using these instructions.
If you don't have the latest Windows updates installed on your computer, you may need to connect manually.
- To start configuring your wireless, click Start » Connect To.

A box should open displaying all available wireless networks.
Select "resnet 40" and then Connect.

Select Enter/select additional log on information.

To authenticate, enter the following information:
- User Name: Missouri State Private ID
- Password: Missouri State Password
- Logon domain: SGF

Select Enter/select additional log on information again.

Select OK to accept the server certificate.

You should now be connected to the "resnet 40" network. If this method does not work try connecting manually.
Setting up Resnet 40 Manually
- At the "Connect to a network screen select "Set up a connection or network"
- Click "Manually connect to a wireless network" then click "Next"
- Enter "resnet 40" into Network Name. Security type should be set to "WPA2-Enterprise" and Encription type should be "AES." Then click "Next"
- Click "Change Connection Settings."
- Click on the secuity tab, then click "Settings."
- Uncheck "Validate server certificate" then click "Configure..."
- Uncheck "Automatically use my Windows login name or password." Then click "OK" on each of the two windows.
- Windows now needs credentials to complete the connection. Click on the network icon to access the "Enter Credentials" prompt.
- Enter your PrivateID, password, and SGF into the User name, password, and login domain respectively. If you enter credentials in incorrectly it will prompt you again.
You should now be connected to Resnet 40!
