Microsoft Xbox 360 Registration and Configuration

If your Xbox still has the original dashboard, you may wish to view this tutorial to connect your console to the residence hall network.

1. Go to the System Settings area of the My Xbox Channel.
   
   
2. Select Network Settings.
   
   
3. Select the Configure Network option.
   
   
4. Under the Basic Settings ensure the IP Address and DNS Settings are set to Automatic.
   
   
5. Select Additional Settings and then view Advanced Settings.
   
   
6. At the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading called Wired MAC Address.
   
   
7. Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to http://resreg.missouristate.edu and register your Xbox 360.
