BlackBerry Email Setup

Note: BlackBerry Internet Service, which is included with an active data plan, is required in order to configure email.

1. Select "Setup Wizard" » "Email Setup"
2. Select "I want to create or add an email address" and click "Next".
3. Enter the following information and select "Next":
   • Email address: PublicID@missouristate.edu
   • Password: Missouri State Password
4. The message "We were unable to set up 'PublicID@missouristate.edu'. Choose one of the following options and select next," should be displayed.
5. Select "I will provide the settings to add this email account" and click "Next".
6. Select "Internet Service Provider Email (POP/IMAP)" and click "Next".
7. On the screen "I will provide the settings to add this email account", accept the setting and click "Next".
8. Enter the following information and select "Next":
   • Email address: PublicID@missouristate.edu
   • User name: SGF/PrivateID/PublicID
   • Password: Missouri State Password
   • Email server: bearmail.missouristate.edu
9. Click "OK" and Bearmail should be configured.

Simply find the link for you specific provider at the bottom of the page in order to log in and configure your settings.
