Setting up Automatic Updates in Windows XP

  1. Start » Settings » Control Panel

  2. Double click the "Automatic Updates" Icon

  3. Make sure that the "Automatic" Box is checked and set a time you would like it to do the updates

Setting up Automatic Updates in Mac OS X

  1. Select the Apple icon from the top left of the screen, then go to "System Preferences...".

  2. Then select the "Software Update" preference pane.

  3. Ensure that "Check for updates" is checked (preferably with "Download important updates in the background" checked as well).

Setting up Automatic Updates in Windows Vista

  1. Open Control Panel. Start Orb » Control Panel

  2. If in Category View Swith to Classic (in the left panel)
  3. Find Windows Update

  4. Click on "Change Settings" in left panel. Accpect any UAC prompt if prompted.

  5. Ensure that Windows Updates are enabled then click OK. Accepct UAC prompt if prompted.
