Fall 2017 Opening Weekend

ResNet is open this weekend from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM to help incoming residents with technology setup! We will resume normal hours next week and be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. If you require assistance, check out our contact page, give us a call at 417-836-6100, or send us an email at ResNet@MissouriState.edu. We look forward to talking to you!

Also, keep in mind that any devices on the wired network will need to be registered with the ResReg system before they can fully connect. Devices that must be connected via Ethernet include consoles and Smart TVs. These devices usually have wireless capabilities but will generally not be compatible with the security used on our wireless networks.

Finally, ResPrint has also been reset for the new semester. All residents should start with a full print balance of 350 pages. If you run low on prints, additional pages can be purchased in the main Residence Life offices located in Hammons 104.

Opening Weekend, ResReg, and ResPrint

ResNet will be open on January 14th and 15th from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (weather allowing) in order to assist new and returning residents with their technology! Additionally, ResReg will be reset for the new semester on the morning of January 12th. This will mean that devices which were registered before will need to be re-registered before they will connect over wired connections. This is to prevent connectivity complications from residents that may have moved out or switched rooms.

Finally, ResPrint will also be reset before the first day of the new semester so that every user has a full printing balance. As the semester progresses, if you find yourself low on prints you may purchase a "top-up" card from the main Residence Life office in Hammons 104. If you have any questions about these system resets, need a device registered, or are just looking for information, please don't hesitate to shoot us an email at ResNet@MissouriState.edu or call our offices at 417-836-6100.

Network Name Change

The WiFi network "MSU ResNet" has now been renamed "MSU Residential." Users will have to reconnect their devices to the new network in most cases. As always, contact us if you have any issues or questions!
